After Letter To CMs, Arvind Kejriwal Approaches Top Industrialists Ambani, Tata Over Oxygen Crisis In Delhi

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday wrote a letter to the top industrialists including Ambani, Tata, Birla, and Bajaj, seeking their help in the national capital's Oxygen crisis.

After requesting Central Government and Chief Ministers of other states to help Delhi fight with Oxygen crisis, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has now approached top industrialists of the country, seeking their help in the national capital's Oxygen shortage.

Aad Aadmi Party chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday wrote a letter to the top industrialists including Ambani, Tata, Birla, and Bajaj, seeking their help in the national capital's Oxygen crisis. His letter reads, 'Please help Delhi government if you have Oxygen and tankers...help us in whatever way you can.'

On Saturday, the Chief Minister wrote a letter to the Chief Ministers of other Indian states asking their help amid acute shortage of medical oxygen in hospitals of the national capital. 

"I am writing to all CMs requesting them to provide oxygen to Delhi, if they have spare. Though Central govt. is also helping us, the severity of corona is such that all available resources are proving inadequat," CM Kejriwal said.

Earlier this week on Friday, Kejriwal in a virtual meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi requested the central government to ensure a stable supply of medical oxygen to the national capital.

Meanwhile, Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan has claimed that Delhi has been allotted (oxygen) more than the quota they had asked for, and now it lies with the state government how to  rationalise the quota in a timely manner.
