New Delhi: Amid the growing rift between Mamata Banerjee and her nephew Abhishek Banerjee, a meeting has been called at the West Bengal Chief Minister's home on Saturday with senior leaders of the Trinamool Congress in attendance.

According to the sources quoted by PTI, national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee, secretary-general Partha Chatterjee, state party president Subrata Bakshi, and ministers Firhad Hakim, Aroop Biswas, and Chandrima Bhattacharya are present in the meeting.

"The meeting will be held tomorrow at 5 pm to discuss the present political situation in the party. The statements and counterstatements that are being given by some leaders have not gone down well with the party supremo. This has to stop somewhere. Our party supremo is likely to give out a message to all the leaders," a senior TMC leader told PTI yesterday.

Ahead of the meeting, Bengal Forest Minister Jyotipriyo Mullick said that 'Mamata Banerjee is the only leader of their party'.

The infighting in the ruling TMC raised on Friday as leaders viewed as near party national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee took to Twitter to advocate the "one person one post" policy, as indicated by which an individual from the party ought to be permitted to hold just one position.

A segment of old guards, including Hakim, named the move an infringement of party discipline.

Ever since the party has started the campaign of 'One Person One Post', the voices of rebellion within the party have intensified. The youth leader of the party and Abhishek Banerjee has also extended his support for this campaign. But on the other hand, there are many senior leaders who are not in support of this campaign.
