New Delhi: A forensic lab report has confirmed the firearms used during the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case. Sources informed ABP News that forensic report confirms firing took place at the time of the violence, the evidence of which has been found out from three weapons.
The rifle of Union Minister Ajay Kumar Mishra Teni's son Ashish Mishra, and the pistol of another accused Ankit Das, was sent for investigation. The report from the forensic lab confirms that the bullet was fired from these weapons.
Ankit Mishra's gunner Latif's repeater gun was also sent for examination. According to the forensic report, the firing took place from the licensed firearms while fleeing the spot where the incident took place.
Although the post mortem report did not confirm bullet injuries to any person, the police found bullet marks on the cars in their investigation. It was on the basis of this probe that the rifles were seized for examination.

On October 3, in Tikunia in Lakhimpur Kheri , four farmers were allegedly crushed by an SUV, when they were returning from a program held to protest against the agricultural laws. Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Maurya and Union Minister Ajay Mishra Teni were present at the event. Farmers allege that the SUV belonged to Teni and his son Ashish Mishra was in it. Ashish Mishra has been arrested and farmers are now demanding the dismissal of the Union minister as he is also an accused in the case.
