Kerala Election Results 2021 Live Updates: Kerala went to the polls on April 6 to elect its 15th legislative assembly after weeks of campaigning, rallies, and power-packed roadshows in the state.
On April 6 in Kerala, votes are being cast for 140 assembly seats. Ahead of Kerala Assembly elections 2021, BJP suffered a major setback as nomination of three NDA candidates was canceled in the Kerala Assembly elections. The returning officers had rejected the nomination of the NDA candidate from Thalassery assembly seat, Guruvayur seat and Devikulam seat. The form submitted by the candidates from Thalassery and Guruvayur constituency did not carry BJP president J P Nadda's signature. Nomination of AIADMK candidate Dhanalekshmi was rejected due to an incomplete form.

Congress-led UDF had won 20 to 19 seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections with 47.48 percent votes. Left Front, on the other hand, won only one seat, but its vote percentage was 36.29.
