According to the reports, 100 army men from Ramgarh had to go to Delhi by Rajdhani train. For some reason, it it seemed difficult to move to Ranchi hence, the army men chose Barkakana as it is comparatively closer. However, the train halts for merely five minutes at the said station which seemed difficult for the soldiers to board their luggage in the short time.
On the special request made by the military forces, the operating department of Ranchi Rail Division strategically planned to deliver the Rajdhani train from Ranchi to Barkakana ahead of schedule. Using the maximum speed of Rajdhani train, the train reached Barkakana station at 7.08 pm, which is 17 minutes ahead of the scheduled time.
