The chief minister has decided to implement this power scheme of the central government in view of the frequent power cuts in some areas of the state.

Adityanath also alleged that Akhilesh Yadav deprived UP of development.

On April 11, Adityanath had ordered 18-hour power supply in villages, 20-hour at tehsil level and in Bundelkhand region. He also ordered that district headquarters will get 24-hour power supply.

He had also directed the officials to ensure uninterrupted supply to the villages from 6 in the evening to 6 in the morning so as to help the students prepare for exams.
