Wrestler Murder Case: Delhi Police Announce Rs 1 Lakh Reward For Info On Olympic Medalist Sushil Kumar
A lookout notice has been issued against the absconding Olympic medalist and his friends against whom a Delhi Court had earlier on Saturday issued non-bailable warrants.
New Delhi: Delhi Police have announced a reward of Rs one lakh on information leading to the arrest of two-time Olympic medalist Sushil Kumar in connection with the murder of 23-year-old former junior national wrestling champion Sagar Rana.
A reward of Rs 50,000 has been announced for Ajay, who too is absconding in connection with the case, said Delhi Police.
A lookout notice has been issued against the absconding Olympic medalist and his friends against whom a Delhi Court had earlier on Saturday issued non-bailable warrants.
“A lookout notice has been issued for Kumar,” IANS quoted Dr Guriqbal Singh Sidhu, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, (North West Delhi), as saying.
According to police, the clash took place over vacating a flat in the Model Town area and the boxer has been named in the FIR in this case.

Besides the Delhi NCR region, raids are being conducted in search of the accused in neighbouring states as well.
The officer said that some wrestlers were injured during the fight and were admitted to the hospital, where one of them died. The Delhi Police had recorded the statements of some people, who made allegations against Sushil.
The official said that several teams have been formed to trace the absconding, including Sushil. He said that the police are investigating the role of Sushil as charges have been made against him.
According to reports, Delhi Police has so far questioned many people, including Sushil’s father-in-law Satpal Singh, in connection with the case.
However, no information about Sushil has been revealed so far.
