Lucknow (UP): In a shocking incident, a female lawyer tonsured her head while addressing a press conference in which she said an alleged BJP leader raped and mentally tortured her. Satish Sharma, the accused, is also a lawyer and her senior colleague. The woman alleged that Sharma recorded an obscene video of her and kept blackmailing her for three years. Fed up with his wicked activities, the woman approached the police which allegedly displayed venality. She shaved off her hairs protesting against his brutality and the inefficiency of the cops. The woman held a press conference to expose Sharma saying she’s shaving her head as there’s nothing left. “He’s already cut a major portion of my hairs. You can see the scars. He is a big leader of the BJP and has all political shielding. There’s nothing left. I am scared as he is threatening my family of filing a complaint. I am being made to face this only because I am a Dalit and from the backward class.” Sources in the UP BJP unit said the accused is not a primary member of the party but represents cases of certain BJP leaders in court. The case is similar to that of Unnao BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar who is behind the bars for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor girl. Satish Sharma remained unavailable for comment.
