“During the election, cast your votes peacefully. Keep in mind, 'cool cool Trinamool, thanda thanda cool cool, vote pabe joda phool'. Keep your mind cool for 48 hours,”: CM Mamata said while addressing the gathering.

The Battle for Bengal in this election has been made fierce and intense because of the faceoff between TMC and BJP.

Both parties continue to attack each other and level allegations of political violence, as West Bengal enters phase 2 of polling on April 1.

The ruling TMC has also raised doubts over the Election Commission especially making an issue over the decision to allow non-locally registered voters to be booth agents.

“The new system is not acceptable to us. We demand that from the next phase the polling agent must be local of the concerned polling booth. CEO has assured us to look into the matter," Sudip Bandyopadhyay told media persons after meeting Chief Electoral Officer on Saturday.

Meanwhile, it is interesting to see how CM Mamata has managed to bring some "cool cool" amid this heated political atmosphere in the state.
