WATCH: Uttarakhand BJP MLA Brandishes Guns As He Dances To Bollywood Songs; Video Goes Viral

Pranav Singh Champion was reportedly celebrating his homecoming after a leg operation.

New Delhi: A video of Uttarakhand Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Pranav Singh Champion dancing to Bollywood item songs while brandishing guns in both his hands, has gone viral on social media. Pranav Singh, who is known for stoking several controversies in the past, had previously been suspended from the party on grounds of indiscipline and misbehaviour. The MLA can be seen dancing both arms spread, with guns in each, and using foul language. As per reports, he was celebrating with his supporters for coming back home after a leg operation. At a point in the video he can be seen wielding four guns while dancing to Bollywood songs. His supporter seems to be massaging his ego by saying nobody else can do something like this Uttarakhand.  Correcting him, Pranav Singh Champion says “not only in Uttarakhand, but nobody could do something like this in entire country”. Reacting to the video, BJP leader Anil Baluni said the party has taken cognizance of the video and party will take strict action against him. The party has take action against him in the past too. He said BJP does not support such acts and language as displayed by Pranav Singh Champion. The state unit will soon take an action against him. Watch here: Before defecting to BJP, Pranav Singh Champion was previously associated with Congress. He was elected for the fourth consecutive time in 2017 and is one of the senior Members of the Legislative Assembly in Uttarakhand. He has also served as Cabinet Rank Minister in the previous state governments.
