The tragic accident took place at the Thippagondanahalli Reservoir near Bengaluru when the climax of the film was being shot.
The film ‘Masti Gudi’ has actor Duniya Vijay in the lead. During the action sequence, Vijay was the last to jump off from the helicopter after the two movie villains plunged from over a 100 feet. According to OneIndia.com report, only Vijay was able swim back to the bank.
Rescue efforts were lodged as the duo Anil and Uday became untraceable. Motorboats were not provided to the crew while shooting such a dangerous stunt.
