Youtuber Karl Edward Rice, better known as Karl Rock of New Zealand has returned back to India after being away for 514 days as his visa was canceled and was blacklisted by the Indian government.

He was barred from entering India as he was found doing business on a tourist visa, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) had said in a statement in July 2021. Karl has come back to India after 18 months and he posted a video about the same.

Take a look at Karl Rock's recent video after returning to India:

Karl Rock's YouTube channel has a lot of Indian followers. He became famous after he posted a series of videos 'exposing' the scammers and hackers in India who were duping people using various fraudulent methods. He also started living in India after he married an Indian woman, Manisha. After he got married, he was issued an X-2 visa, meant for spouses and children of Indian nationals, which was valid till 2024. One of the conditions of the visa was that he had to exit India every 180 days or intimate the Foreigner Regional Registration Office (FRRO) concerned.

The petition filed in court states that Karl had strictly been abiding by the laws of the country and conditions of the visa and that there has not been a single complaint against him.

In July 2021, Karl posted a video where he had said “I left India in October 2020 to live in Dubai and in Pakistan. When I went to the New Delhi International Airport, they cancelled my visa. They did not tell me why they were cancelling my visa. So, when I went to Dubai to re-issue my visa to go back home, I was called in the Indian High Commission and told in person that I have been blacklisted.”
