NEW DELHI: A video of militants playing cricket, using AK 47 as wickets in an apple garden of south Kashmir has gone viral on internet. The six-minute long video shows six terrorists, including the one with the mobile phone, playing the game using AK 47 used as wicket.

They're batting, bowling and fielding with guns stashed on their back.

After the clip went viral, social media users claimed they are the same militants who were responsible for carrying out deadly attack on Amarnath pilgrims on Monday.

According to sources, the video was shot in South Kashmir's Korkernag area where Hizbul commander Burhan Wani was killed in an encounter with security forces last year.

All six militants seen in the video belong to terror outfit Hizbul Mujahideen, they said.

Officials have already identified four of them as residents of Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district.

However, it could not be established if they were involved in Amarnath attack or not.

Seven Amarnath pilgrims, including six women, were killed and 19 injured when terrorists attacked a bus in Kashmir's Anantnag district on Monday evening.

The official had said the attack in Anantnag appears to be a reprisal for killing of several Lashkar militants including Bashir Lashkari in an encounter with security forces earlier this month.
