New Delhi: While on one hand notorious gangster Vikas Dubey has been killed in an encounter on Friday morning just a day after his arrest, another development in case reveals that Mahakaleshwar temple authorities have removed Rudy Yadav, the lady security officer at the Ujjain temple, raising many questions about Dubey's arrest. Ruby Yadav, the security in-charge at the religiously famed Mahakal temple in Madhya Pradesh had made to the headlines yesterday for capturing the wanted gangster Vikas Dubey who was on the run after killing eight policemen in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur on Last Friday, July 3.

After on run for almost six days, Dubey was arrested on Thursday at the Mahakal temple. His mother Sarla Devi while speaking to ABP News had informed that Vikas Dubey and his close aides followed lord Shiva religiously. They used to visit to the Mahakal Mandir at the onset of Shravan month every year. This year too, Dubey visited the temple hoping that God could offer protection from impending arrest and death.

Due to coronavirus cases, several security measures are at a place in the temple and not everyone is allowed inside the temple premises. Dubey had entered the temple at around 8.30 am and paid Rs 250 for puja items before entering the premises. A security guard had asked him to remove his face mask and that is when he was recognized and caught.

While speaking with ABP News, Security Officer of Mahakaleshwar temple, Ruby Yadav yesterday unfolded  the series of events that led to Vikas Dubey's capture.

Ruby told that she first observed Dubey, then traced him and then captured Kanpur encounter culprit. She revealed that Vikas had a fake ID, had changed his dressing sense and was lying when first asked about his details.

he Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga located in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and is considered to be one of the sacred abodes of Shiva.

Dubey had been eluding the police since the past one week and though four dozen teams of Special Task Force and state police were chasing him, they could not nab him.
