VIDEO: Newly elected Rajasthan politician polishes shoes to thank voters after victory
In the recent assembly election in Rajasthan, Om Prakash Hudla had defeated BJP’s Rajendra Meen by more than nine thousand votes.
Jaipur: In the state where Congress party delivered a severe blow to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Hindi heartland, dislodging the saffron party out of power in Rajasthan, an independent candidate name Om Prakash Hudla was seen polishing shoes of people in the crowd.
Rajasthan's independent MLA Om Prakash Hudla who won election from Dausa, after his recent victory was caught polishing shoes of the crowd in the city. When asked, he said that he considers voters as his god who made him win in the state. He decided to polish shoes of people in a manner to give them respect.
Independent candidate Hudla also said that he wanted to show that he is a common man like others.
Before the assembly election from the state, Prakash Hudla had resigned from the Bharatiya Janta Party party. In the election, he had defeated BJP’s Rajendra Meen by more than nine thousand votes.
