Dehradun: Congress's three-day brainstorming camp is starting tomorrow. The camp will continue till August 5 in Rishikesh. All senior leaders including Congress state in-charge Devendra Yadav, state president Ganesh Godiyal, election campaign committee president Harish Rawat and Leader of Opposition Pritam Singh will be present. In the camp, MLAs, former MLAs, state executives, all district presidents, all committees, allied organizations, departments, and office bearers will participate in the main topics related to elections. 


Strategy for assembly elections to be decided


Suggestions for the manifestos, proposed issues, and campaigns, proposed visits and meetings, necessary precautions to be taken during elections, detailed discussions, and suggestions on a personal action plan for election preparation will be discussed at the camp. The purpose of the brainstorming camp is about the future strategy and election management for the upcoming assembly elections 2022.


Feedback to be taken from all


Feedback will be taken from all committees on August 3, the first day of the brainstorming camp, and further action plans will be sought. On the second day, on August 4, a meeting will be held with all frontal organizations, State Congress Committee, and District Congress Committee members. On the third day, the Congress Core Committee will meet on August 5 to brainstorm and chalk out a strategy for the 2022 assembly elections.  


Recently, many posts have been appointed in Uttarakhand Congress. Pritam Singh has been made the Leader of the Opposition. At the same time, Ganesh Godiya has been made the President of the State Congress. However, a deadlock is emerging in the state unit over the chief minister.
