Lucknow: A female college student was kidnapped in the open in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly in an incident which puts a question mark on the law and order situation in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-ruled state under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

The entire incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed at the place of crime following which the police have filed a case and began searching for the miscreants.

The incident took place when the girl was returning home after college on a bike with her brother. The miscreants stopped the bike enroute and took out the key of the vehicle. They then forced the girl to sit on another bike and took her away along with them. The kidnaping video is trending on social media these days.

It has been three days since the incident but neither the girl nor the miscreants have been found out by the police. The girl’s family has so far refused to reveal anything to the media regarding the kidnapping incident.

Bareilly Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Rohit Singh Sajwan, however, ruled out kidnapping and said the girl was in love with the man with whom she has eloped.
