After, finance minister Rishi Sunak and health secretary Sajid Javid resigned from their posts, the Boris Johnson government faced another blow Wednesday with two more ministers resigning from the cabinet, reported news agency Agence France-Presse (AFP)


While resigning from the Boris Johnson cabinet, Will Quince, minister for children and families, said he had "no choice but to tender my resignation". Transport minister Laura Trott also quit the government an said he had lost "Trust" in the current establishment of Johnson, reported, AFP.


Earlier on Monday, finance minister Rishi Sunak also expressed similar displeasure with the government and published his own resignation letter, in which he said: "I am sad to be leaving government but I have reluctantly come to the conclusion we cannot continue like this."


"The public rightly expect the government to be conducted properly, competently and seriously. I recognise this may be my last ministerial job, but I believe these standards are worth fighting for and that is why I am resigning," added Sunak.


While Sajid Javid Took to his official Twitter handle and wrote, "The tone you set as a leader, and the values you represent, reflect on your colleagues, your party and ultimately the country. Conservatives at their best are seen as hard-headed decision-makers, guided by strong values."


However, Johnson quickly appointed UK Cabinet chief of staff Steve Barclay as the new health secretary, while UK education secretary Nadhim Zahawi was made the new finance minister.


The British Prime Minister had recently Survived vote of no-confidence in the parliament by a slim margin.
