Trinamool Congress MP Sudip Bandyopadhyay on Wednesday said that TMC is not participating in any of the other protests and the party will protest on its own issues and agenda in the Parliament, as reported by the news agency ANI. "We are not participating in any of the other protests. TMC will protest on its own issues and agenda in the Parliament," Bandyopadhyay said.


He further said that it is most unfortunate that the Parliament is not succeeding to commence its session. He added, whether the ruling party or the main opp party, both are at loggerheads with each other. "It is most unfortunate that the Parliament is not succeeding to commence its session. The second leg of the Budget session kicked off on Monday amid chaos with treasury and opposition benches trading charges. While the BJP has hit out at Rahul Gandhi demaniding an apology for his speech in London, the Opposition protested with LoP Mallikarkun Kharge stating that the BJP was not following rules.


With moments of the Session starting the Rajya Sabha was adjounrned till 2 pm and when the House resumed, Union Minister Piyush Goyal demanded an apology from Congress MP Rahul Gandhi over his speech in London. In response, Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge alleged that BJP is not following rules and demanded Goyal's words be expunged.
