Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre (IN-SPACe) headquarters in Bopal, Ahmedabad, to promote privatisation in the space business. He also laid the foundation stones for many development projects in the Navsari district of the state. After the inauguration, he also addressed the people gathered for the event. 


During his address, he said, “Today in Gujarat Gaurav Abhiyan, I am taking special pride in one thing. That pride is happening because I worked as the Chief Minister for so many years. But never had such a big program happened in the tribal area.”


"Earlier, it used to take months for campaigns such as vaccination to reach forest areas where tribals reside; now they are implemented there simultaneously along with urban areas," he added. 


He further said, "Those who ruled the country for a long time, never took interest in the development of tribal areas as it requires hard work."






Talking about the development work in Gujarat that happened during the BJP government, he said, “These projects of electricity, water, roads, health, education and all types of connectivity, especially in our tribal areas. Then these facilities will be linked to employment opportunities.”


Reminiscing his eight years as the Prime Minister of the country, he thanked the people saying, “8 years ago you sent me to Delhi with many blessings and many expectations to expand my role of service to the nation. In the last 8 years, we have succeeded in connecting crores of new people, and many new areas with the dreams and aspirations of development.”


Talking about the Rs 3000 crore project that he inaugurated, PM Modi said, “Today I had the opportunity to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for projects worth over Rs 3,000 crore. All these projects will make life easier for crores of friends of South Gujarat including Surat, Tapi, Navsari, and Valsad.”


He further added, “The rapid development in the state during the last two decades is the pride of Gujarat. In the last 8 years, following the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, our government has put utmost emphasis on the welfare of the people in the state.”
