Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Gujarat, and Uttar Pradesh account for 70% of the entire caseload in the country and have also witnessed a rise in the number of fatalities.
But, there are some states and Union Territories which have managed the take control of the situation and have registered zero fatality.
These are the states and union territories with no deaths:
- Andaman And Nicobar Island: The number of active cases in the UT is 5 while 33 people have been cured of the virus. The UT has registered a total of 38 cases but the number of death is zero.
- Arunachal Pradesh: The number of infected cases in Arunachal Pradesh 87 and four patients have been discharged. No deaths have been recorded in this state till date.
- Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu: There are 35 Covid-19 cases in these two Union territories and two people have recovered from the disease. No deaths have been reported in these areas to date.
- Goa: The state once declared Corona-free has 453 active cases now. The total number of Coronavirus cases in Goa is 523 while 70 people have recovered from the virus
- Manipur: The northeastern state has recorded 449 cases of the coronavirus disease and 91 people have recovered. So far, no one has died in Manipur.
- Mizoram: The state has 107 cases of the highly contagious disease and one person has recovered in the state. Mizoram doesn’t have any fatalities as of now.
- Nagaland: This state in the North East has 87 active cases and 76 recoveries. Nobody has succumbed to the virus in Nagaland.
- Sikkim: Sikkim has 63 Covid-19 cases, four recoveries, and no deaths so far.
