Telugu actress Annapurna's daughter commits suicide in Hyderabad

During the investigation, police had found out that she committed suicide due to health issues.

New Delhi: The daughter of a yesteryear Telugu film actress Annapurna committed suicide on Saturday in Hyderabad. In a shocking incident that took place on Saturday morning, the Police confirmed that the actor's daughter who has been identified as Keerthi committed suicide at Annapurna's residence. During the investigation, police had found out that she committed suicide due to health issues. The deceased body has now been shifted to Osmania General Hospital for Postmortem. Keerthi was married for more performed three years and had a child. K.S. Rao, ACP Banjara hills Division, was quoted as saying, "Keerthi who is around 35 years old has committed suicide by hanging herself to death at her residence." As per the report by Telangana Today, Keerthi had been undergoing treatment for psychological disorders for the last two years. The problem compounded in the last six months when she got to know about her two-and-a-half-month-old baby girl was unable to speak properly. That's when she slipped into depression. According to reports, Keerthi was the adopted daughter of veteran film actress Annapurna. Meanwhile, a case has been registered under section 174 of The Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Police to enquire and report on suicide, etc.) at Banjarahills police station in the city. Further investigation is underway.
