Patna: Taking potshots at party’s Bihar president Jagadanand Singh over the sacking of his close aide Akash Yadav, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav’s elder son Tej Pratap Yadav on Thursday sought his father’s intervention.
“I urge my father Lalu Prasad Yadav also to act against him. If there is no action taken, I won't be participating in any party activities,” ANI quoted Tej Pratap as saying.
Continuing his outburst, Tej Pratap said Jagadanand Singh thinks that it is his party.

“The party’s constitution wasn't followed, why no notice was issued to our student leaders? By saying who's Tej Pratap Yadav, is he trying to blackmail us? They just want to break our Krishna-Arjun Jodi,” he added.
Tej Pratap’s remarks came after RJD students' wing state president Akash Yadav was replaced by Gagan Kumar.
The Bihar RJD chief, however, attempted to downplay the row and said Tej Pratap has a “misunderstanding”.
“I didn't know he (Tej Pratap) was angry. Maybe he has a misunderstanding. He wants to make a small thing into a big matter,” he told ANI.
