Sudiksha got scholarship to study at Babson College, USA
Sudiksha Bhati could have been a face that would eventually bring laurels to her hometown and state, had she not been the victim of the sorry state of affairs in the region. A meritorious student, Sudiksha had made news due to her excellence in study and bagged a scholarship from Babson College, USA. Hailing from a small village located in UP's Dadri, she was the daughter of Jitendra Bhati who is a tea seller by profession.
Not from a financially well-off background, she made a mark when she topped from Bulandshahr district in the Intermediate examinations of 2018. After HCL gave her a scholarship of Rs 3 crore 80 lakh, Sudiksha Bhati went to higher education in America.
She had returned to her hometown in June amid the coronavirus induced lockdown and had plans to return back to US on August 20.

What happened during the accident:
As per reports, the eve-teasers were chasing her while she was on her way to her relatives’ place. They started performing stunts near their bike due to which her uncle, who was riding the bike was facing difficulties. Suddenly the other bikers pulled brakes, which made her uncle lose balance and Sudiksha fell headlong on the road and died on the spot.
Unabated crime in Uttar Pradesh:
The incident comes close on the heels on the Kanpur brazen shootout in which several cops were killed. In Ghaziabad, a journalist named Vikram Joshi was killed by goons recently after saving his niece from molestation. The incident once again raises questions on the state of law and order in Uttar Pradesh.
The police have registered a case against unidentified bikers and a lookout has been initiated.
