'Baat Nikli Hai To Dilli Tak Jayegi,' Sanjay Raut's Cryptic Response On BJP's Resignation Demands From Anil Deshmukh

Raut, who on earlier occasions appeared before media in a rather aggressive stance on the matter, said: “Our state's justice system has always been one of the best in the country, no one is above law here and to provide justice to all has been the norm.”

New Delhi: After Supreme Court pronounced that CBI will investigate the death case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut, said that truth and justice eventually prevail and without divulging deeper on the topic, he said that he was not the right person to comment on the verdict of Supreme Court. Meanwhile, when Deshmukh was quizzed he said: "The Supreme Court verdict has come, once we get a copy of the order we will comment on it." You Have Answered Our Prayers’ “Those in the government who know the law, the Mumbai Police Commissioner or our Advocate General can talk about it, it is not fit for me to comment on the verdict of Supreme Court,” he said. However when questioned on Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray’s name surfacing in the case, Raut appeared to evade the question. Last week, Raut  had termed the transfer of the case related to Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) as "illegal". He had said that all the parties, including the family of Rajput, should remain quiet for some time and let the Mumbai Police conclude their investigation in the actor's death case. The Supreme Court on Wednesday upheld the transfer of FIR registered by Bihar Police  to CBI in the case. It said that the FIR registered by Bihar Police is correct and the reference to CBI is lawful. Rajput was found hanging in his Bandra apartment on June 14. Also Watch:
