New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who is currently in the custody of the Enforcement Directorate (ED), is running the state government from the custody.

At a press conference on Thursday, Minister Atishi was asked whether CM Kejriwal's wife Sunita Kejriwal will become the CM in light of Kejriwal's absence.

Responding to the query, Atishi said that Sunita Kejriwal is Arvind Kejriwal's wife. "She and all our leaders' families have been involved in this struggle from India Against Corruption to the formation of AAP. They are still involved in this struggle today."

Kejriwal issued his second work order from ED's custody on Tuesday instructing Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj to ensure that medicines and tests are available to people at all government hospitals and Mohalla Clinics.

Earlier on Sunday, the Aam Aadmi Party supremo gave instructions to Water Minister Atishi to solve water and sewer-related problems in some areas of the city.

On Kejriwal's arrest, Atishi stated, "Arrests have been made based on four statements that have no basis. Before giving these statements, these people gave many statements such as we do not know Kejriwal. After months in jail, their statements change. Today, Kejriwal has destroyed all ED cases by giving his statement in court.

"Today, by giving his statement, he has proved that the real meaning of ED is the Extortion Directorate. After ED's investigation, the liquor scandal happened. Money was extorted from the liquor businessman," she added.
