The process of reshuffling the cabinet has once more become more intense in Madhya Pradesh. According to the speculation, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan might make one last cabinet reshuffle to get rid of anti-incumbency. A day ago, Shivraj Singh Chouhan was called to Delhi, where he met BJP President JP Nadda and National General Secretary BL Santosh. If sources are to be believed, there could be the biggest reshuffle in the Madhya Pradesh government so far. However, the final decision is yet to be taken.
The assembly elections are scheduled to be held in Madhya Pradesh along with Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh in October 2023. In such a scenario, Madhya Pradesh is regarded as an important state for BJP. The Bharatiya Janata Party currently has 122 of the 230 assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh, and chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is in charge of 30 ministries. There are currently 4 open positions in the Council of Ministers.
