The leaders of different opposition parties will come together on a common platform through video-conferencing. This will be the first video conference meeting between of opposition parties during the nationwide lockdown.
As per reports, chances are that Shiv Sena and Trinamool Congress will take part in the discussion. Communist Party of India (Marxist) general secretary Sitaram Yechury has also confirmed his participation. NCP, RJD and National Conference are also likely to attend the meet.
As per PTI report, Sonia Gandhi personally called the opposition leaders and sought their cooperation in chalking out a joint strategy to address the issue of the stranded migrants.
