In the video that he posted at 5:48am in the morning, the noise emission of trains running on tracks can also be heard in the background along with 'azaan'. In a bid to provide substantiated proof, Sonu posted the video ‘Good Morning India’ which appears to have been shot before dawn.
Sonu on Wednesday had got his head shaved off by his friend and hairstylist Aalim Hakim after accepting a challenge by a West Bengal cleric. The singer had also offered to apologise if his controversial tweets were found to be against Muslims. The issue also saw a divided stand in Bollywood.

His tweet on opposing loudspeakers at religious places had sparked a controversy with several Muslim groups protesting and contemplating to take up the matter in courts.
On Wednesday, Sonu addressed a press conference on “forced religiousness”, during which he said: "All I wanted was to be considerate with each other like all the big countries in the world. Everyone has right to opinion. People can disagree with my view. My opinion is that in temple masjid, gurudwara, loudspeakers are not religious necessities. It is not part of a religion, going on from years."
"When loudspeakers are installed in religious places, it is sort of a declaration that 'this is my religion'. Same goes for people dancing on roads drunk during religious processions. I am against that as well.
"I am very secular, I am not right or left wing. I stand in between. Most are right and left wing people but people in the middle are less. I've never had to make a speech like this. I just raised a social topic, not a religious topic," he added.
