New Delhi: Voting for the civic polls 2017 began across booths in Delhi on Sunday. Over 1.32 crore Delhi voters were supposed to cast their votes for 270 wards for North, East and South corporations. While the North and South corporations have 104 wards each, the East ward has 64 wards.

The elections to two municipal wards— Sarai Peepal Kalan (North MCD) and Maujpur (East MCD)— postponed following the deaths of candidates, incidentally both from the Samajwadi Party.
