New Delhi: Rebel Bharatiya Janta Party leader Shtrughan Sinha on Tuesday was welcomed by RJD Chief Lalu Yadav’s elder son Tej Pratap Yadav to join his party. Speaking on the same, Yadav said “I talk to Shatrughan Sinha from time to time; I have also been to his place in Mumbai. I am still inviting him. Janta Darbar mein aa jaaein hamare.” He further said that “Shtrughan Sinha will be welcomed if he wants to come to the party.”

This comes days after opposition parties joined TMC Chief Mamata Banerjee in her United India Rally, which aims at defeating Bharatiya Janta Party in forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

It is interesting to know that Shtrughan Sinha was also one of the attendees in the opposition’s United India Rally and the same was condemned by his party leaders.

Speaking on Shotgun’s presence at the rally, BJP leader Rajeev Pratap Rudy while speaking to media at a press conference said, “The party would take action against Shatrughan for his presence at opposition’s rally”.

Shatrughan Sinha has been very vocal lately about the “wrong doings” in his party. He has not refrained from making comments against own party leaders; which hint at his intent of quitting the party in the near future.

Sinha takes a jibe at Rudy:

Hitting out at Rudy, Sinha said that he is under a pressure from party after being sidelined and hence he is making such statements. He further suggested him to keep his spine intact and not succumb to pressure.

“I was not surprised by the statement about me by a young spokesperson of the party who has been an old friend. Some people are saying that of late, my young friend has been under lot of pressure because of being sidelined and that we should only feel sympathy for the young man who seems to have been forced to make statements like these, or probably strives to keep himself relevant”

“As a genuine well wisher, I have only one advice...don't wilt under pressure and keep your backbone straight! And yes, no need to get personal even with adversaries” he added.
