Sansad Chalo: Farmers To March To Parliament On 29 November. Here’s What SKM Plans Ahead
SKM decided to continue with all the announced programmes as per plan, and the next meeting will take place on November 27 to review developments
New Delhi: After the government announced repeal of three contentious farm laws, Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) met at the Singhu border and decided on a series of upcoming programmes, including a march to Parliament on November 29.
After the meeting at the Singhu Border on Sunday, SKM said in a statement that it will continue with all the announced programmes as per plan even as the Centre announced the withdrawal of farm laws.
In its letter, the SKM has listed six demands of agitating farmers which include a law on Minimum Support Price (MSP), sacking and arrest of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra in connection with Lakhimpur Kheri incident, withdrawal of cases against farmers, and building of a memorial for those who lost their lives during the agitation, news agency PTI reported.

Here’s What SKM Plans Ahead
1) "SKM also decided to continue with all the announced programmes as per plan. The next meeting will take place on November 27, to review developments if any," the statement said, according to PTI.
2) SKM has also appealed to citizens, who are part of the movement, to participate in Lucknow Kisan Mahapanchayat on Monday.
SKM will hold the Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Diwas on Chhotu Ram’s birth anniversary on November 24.
4) The union will hold the "Dilli Border Morche pe Chalo" on November 26.
5) It will organise all state-level farmer-worker protests in states far away from Delhi--Sansad Chalo on November 29.
In the upcoming protests against farm laws, SKM will hold a meeting on November 27 to decide the future course of action.
The umbrella body of over 40 protesting farmer unions congratulated the farmers and workers of India for a "historic victory".
Meanwhile, the Union Cabinet is likely to take up the withdrawal of the three Farm Laws for approval on November 24.
The Bills seeking withdrawal of the laws will then be introduced in the forthcoming winter session of Parliament which is scheduled to commence from November 29.
