Rocket lands in Indian envoy's residence in Kabul, no casualties reported so far
New Delhi: A rocket-launched grenade was lobbed at India House, the Indian ambassador Manpreet Vohra's residence in Kabul Tuesday afternoon.
“All are safe in the mission. No report of any casualty so far,” news agency PTO quoted its Sources.
The grenade had reportedly exploded in the tennis court of the compound in Green Zone area of the city.
The attack comes as the multinational Kabul Peace Process Conference began today amid a series of bombings and clashes that left more than 100 people dead and hundreds wounded in the previous week.
Representatives of around two dozen countries will attend the meeting, which aims to build international support on ways to restore security in the conflict-torn country, the government had said .
