The BJP-AAP feud over the CBI investigation into Delhi's liquor policy heated up on Monday, with the BJP tweeting a spoof video of Kejriwal from its official Twitter account.

Several BJP officials then tweeted the spoof film mocking Arvind Kejriwal and the New York Times article on Delhi's education model. The clip also refers to Kejriwal as 'revdiwal,' and focuses on the Delhi chief minister's 'freebies.'

The video assault occurs as AAP leader and Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia is being investigated by the CBI.

AAP officials have suggested that the CBI action against Manish Sisodia is politically driven, and that the 2024 Lok Sabha election would be Modi vs Kejriwal.

In the midst of the ongoing spat, Manish Sisodia on Sunday uploaded an old video of Narendra Modi discussing the politicisation of the CBI while he was Gujarat chief minister.

The BJP stepped up their attack on Monday by publishing the spoof video. A person disguised like Kejriwal can be seen in the spoof video.

BJP Calls Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal 'Kingpin' Of Excise Policy 'Scam'

Earlier on Sunday, the BJP claimed that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was the "kingpin" of the excise policy "scam" and said that handcuffs were drawing near to him as corruption networks were being exposed, news agency PTI reported.

Speaking at a news conference at this location, BJP national spokesman Gaurav Bhatia claimed Kejriwal was preoccupied with corruption while those impacted by COVID needed his assistance.

"Handcuffs are getting close to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal as nodes of corruption are being unravelled," he added.

Sisodia Claims BJP Approached Him To Join Party

Manish Sisodia levelled severe allegations against the BJP on Monday, saying he got a communication from the BJP offering to drop all charges provided he left the Aam Aadmi Party and joined the BJP.

“I received a message from the BJP — Break the AAP and join the BJP, will get all CBI ED cases closed,” he tweeted.

Highlighting that “all the cases against me are false” Sisodia said, “My reply to BJP - I am a Rajput, a descendant of Maharana Pratap. I will cut off my head but will not bow down in front of the corrupt-conspirators. All the cases against me are false. Do whatever you want to do.”
