A special court in Mumbai on Monday extended the judicial custody of Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut till September 5, 2022, in connection with a money laundering case, news agency ANI reported.

On the day of his incarceration, he invoked Balasaheb Thackeray and stated that he will not resign from Sena.
In the midst of ED action against political heavyweights, the opposition has accused the inquiry agencies of being used against competitors.
