'Ram temple will be constructed as Supreme Court is ours': UP minister fuels controversy
He said ‘the judiciary, administration, the nation as well as the Ram Temple belongs to us.'
New Delhi: A cabinet minister in Yogi Adityanath’s government in Uttar Pradesh, Mukut Bihari Verma has fuelled fresh controversy with his latest statement on the Ayodhya dispute.
Verma, state’s cooperative minister said that the BJP is determined to construct the Ram Temple and hence the temple will be constructed because the ‘Supreme Court is ours’.
While addressing mediapersons he said that the BJP has come to power on the issue of development, but building Ram Temple is one of the main concern of the party.
He further went on to say that the matter is with the Supreme Court and the ‘Supreme Court is ours’.
He added ‘the judiciary, administration, the nation as well as the Ram Temple belongs to US’.
The BJP MLA tried to downplay his comment and said that by saying “Supreme Court is ours I meant that we are the residents of the country who believe in the court.”
