WATCH: Women perform Garba inside moving Mumbai train; Railway Minister Piyush Goyal shares video
New Delhi: As the entire country is drenched in the fervour of Navratra, footage of a group of women enjoying a Garba dance inside a train has made its way to the social media.
Contrary to the rush and congestion which is often seen inside Mumbai trains, the group of ladies have the full room to carry out their moves, in what appears to be ladies compartment of a suburban train.
The video was shared by India’s railway minister Piyush Goyal on Twitter.
In the footage which lacks a date, the women can be seen dancing inside while one plays a song on a wireless speaker.
Garba, which is a quintessential feature of Navratri celebrations, is a dance which originated in Gujarat and women perform this in groups.
The minister tweeted the video and wrote: “Now this is an experience only Indian Railways can provide!”
