Triranga Yatra: National spokesperson of Bharatiya Kisan Union Rakesh Tikait took out 'Tiranga Yatra' in Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttarakhand. Tikait started the 'Tiranga Yatra' from Nanakmatta and after finishing this yatra in Kashipur, he will reach Ghazipur border. Rakesh Tikait along with thousands of his supporters reached Krishi Utpadan Mandi Kichha and unfurled the flag. During this, he also addressed a public meeting.

Govt Responsible For Farmers' Oppression

Rakesh Tikait said the Modi government is completely responsible for the oppression of farmers. All three agricultural laws are black laws, which have been imposed on us, he said adding that the government's announcement to double farmers' income by 2022 has proved false. He called upon the farmers to vote for leaders who seek votes this time only when the income of the farmer is doubled.

Fight Will Continue

Rakesh Tikait said that the United Kisan Morcha is fighting the battle of farmers which will continue until black laws are withdrawn. When the black laws will be withdrawn, only then the farmers will return home, he said pointing out that if farmers' foodgrains are weighed in the agricultural produce market then why can't the farmers unfurl the Tiranga in the mandi, Modi government wants to ban the Tiranga, it will be very costly for the BJP government.

Rakesh Tikait said that this is a beginning from Kichha Krishi Utpadan Mandi in Uttarakhand. Now, in the future, the Tiranga will be unfurled in each mandi and the Tiranga will also be unfurled by the farmers. After Kichha, Rakesh reached Tikait Rudrapur where he was weighed with laddoos and welcomed at every place.
