Rajasthan Govt Eases Covid Restrictions In State; Check What’s Open, What’s Shut

As per the modified guidelines, the curfew will remain in force between 5 p.m. on Friday and 5 a.m. on Monday and between 5 p.m. and 5 a.m. (night curfew) on weekdays.

Jaipur: In view of the decline in coronavirus cases, the Rajasthan government on Monday eased the Covid-19 restrictions in the state.

As per the modified guidelines, the curfew will remain in force between 5 p.m. on Friday and 5 a.m. on Monday and between 5 p.m. and 5 a.m. (night curfew) on weekdays.

The government offices have been allowed to open with 50% staff from 9: 30 a.m. to 4 p.m. All private offices have been asked to open with 50% staff till 4 p.m. while following the Covid protocol.

The offices have been asked to close with immediate effect for 72 hours in case any employee tests positive for Covid-19.

The roadways and private buses have been given permission to operate from June 10. However, the restrictions will continue on the buses plying within the city.

The passengers going towards railway stations, metro stations or airport will be permitted after showing their tickets.

As per the order, the people entering Rajasthan from outside will have to show the RT-PCR negative report which must be done in the last 72 hours.

Besides, all have to abide by the ‘No Mask, No Movement’ protocol.

The religious places are allowed to open but the devotees and visitors have not been permitted to enter the premises.

The government has not given its permission for opening of malls, theatres, swimming poll, gym, playgrounds and picnic spots.

The coaching centres and libraries will also continue to remain closed.

Events and functions related to marriages have also not been permitted.
