What appears to be an apparent show amid the rift in the Congress-led government, the all MLA meet is scheduled to take place at 9 PM at CM's official residence in Jaipur. All the Congress MLAs along with the independent MLAs supporting the Gehlot government have also been invited for the meet up.

The posturing comes at the time when CM Gehlot has accused the Bharatiya Janata Paty (BJP) of poaching Congress MLAs to topple the Rajasthan government. Gehlot claimed that while his government is busy battling the coronavirus the BJP is playing politics and trying to poach Congress' MLAs.

Citing the examples of Karnataka and then Madhya Pradesh where Jyotiraditya Scindia moved to BJP and Congress lost its 15 MLAs, Gehlot said, "The sort of horse-trading that we have seen in other states, such things have never happened in Rajasthan. MLAs never resigned like what happened in Madhya Pradesh. They bought MLAs in Gujarat. What has transpired in Madhya Pradesh, something similar they are trying to do in Rajasthan."

It is to be noted that while on one side the Chief Minister has organised an all MLA meet to display the 'Hum Sab Saath Hai' notion, Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot along with his few loyalist on Sunday arrived Delhi to show his strength to the top brass of the party. As per the sources, meet Congress interim President Sonia Gandhi to talk about the crisis and scuffle within the two factions of the Congress government.

If sources are to be believed, Sachin also met his former colleague and BJP leader Jyotiraditya Scindia in Delhi on Sunday evening. Earlier today, former Congress leader Scindia, who joined BJP in March this year, said that he is sad to see a talent like Pilot being "sidelined and persecuted by Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot."
