Rajasthan Political Crisis: Amid the ongoing rift in Congress-led Rajasthan government, the grand old party is making all the efforts to douse off the internal conflict between the Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot.


According to the latest development, the party has called for another Congress Legislative Party (CLP) meeting tomorrow at 10 am to discuss the political situation in Rajasthan.

Party spokesperson RS Surjewala in a statement on Monday announced that in order to discuss political situation another Congress Legislative Party (CLP) meet will be held here at 10 am tomorrow.

"We request Sachin Pilot & all MLAs to come, we'll also give them in writing. We've requested them to come and discuss the situation,"  Surjewala said.

He further added that "They're requested to come and discuss how to strengthen Rajasthan and serve the 8 crore people together. If there are some differences with someone then they should say that that with an open mind. Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are ready to listen to everyone and find a solution."

Meanwhile, as the power tussle in Rajasthan between CM Gehlot and Deputy CM Sachin Pilot escalates and Congress accuses BJP of horse-trading of MLAs, BJP IT Cell chief Amit Malviya has demanded Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot for an immediate floor test to prove his majority.

There are 200 seats in Rajasthan Assembly. 101 seats are needed for a majority. Congress has 107 MLAs. The BJP has 72 and the others have 21 MLAs. As per sources, at least 30 MLAs are in support of Pilot.
