Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Friday allocated ministries, keeping 8 departments including Home Department, Excise Department and Anti Corruption Bureau for himself, and handing 6 departments including the Finance Department, Tourism Department and Women & Child Development to one of Deputy CM Diya Kumari, news agency ANI reported. On the other hand, the second Deputy CM Prem Chand Bairwa gets 4 departments including Higher Education Department and Road Transport and Highways.






Rajasthan Minister Dr Kirodi Lal Meena gets 4 departments including the Agriculture department, while on the other hand Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore gets 5 departments including the Commerce and Industry, and Sports Department.

Earlier, on December 30, 2023, 12 Cabinet Ministers and 10 Ministers of State were sworn in at a ceremony in Jaipur's Raj Bhavan.


For the first time, seventeen of the 22 ministers took the oath. Governor Kalraj Mishra was also in attendance.


Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Gajendra Singh Khinwsar, Dr Kirodi Lal Meena, Madan Dilawar, Jogaram Patel, Babulal Kharardi, Suresh Singh Rawat, Avinash Gehlot, Joraram Kumawat, Hemant Meena, Kanhaiyalal Choudhary, and Sumit Godara were among the 12 cabinet members who took the oath.

Furthermore, five MLAs were sworn in as state ministers with autonomous charge in the Bhajanlal administration. Sanjay Sharma, Gautam Kumar Dak, Jhabbar Singh Kharra, Surendra Pal Singh TT, and Heeralal Nagar.


Bhajanlal Sharma was sworn in as Chief Minister on December 15, while Diya Kumari and Premchand Bairwa were sworn in as Deputy Chief Ministers.
