Rahul Gandhi Not Mature. Has Mental Age Of A Child: MP CM Shivraj Chouhan
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Chouhan has said Rahul Gandhi has the mental age of a child as he criticised his comments abroad.
In a fresh salvo against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has called him immature and said he has the mental age of a child as he criticised him for his comments about India abroad.
#WATCH | Rahul Gandhi is not mature. His mental age is like that of a child. Rahul Baba is saying that unfortunately, I am an MP. He insulted the temple of democracy, Constitution & hurt people's trust. Our booth workers are more sensible than him: Madhya Pradesh CM SS Chouhan pic.twitter.com/F7XpGiWKp7

He also took a dig at Rahul Gandhi's 'unfortunately, I am a member of Parliament' comment, which he later corrected to 'unfortunately, for you, I am a member of Parliament' after Congress leader Jairam Ramesh pointed out. Chouhan said this comment was an insult to the temple of democracy.
He said, "What does 'unfortunately I am an MP' mean? Is it not an insult to Parliament? India's democracy or to the people who sent him to Parliament? He has insulted the temple of democracy. He has insulted the Constitution of India. He has hurt the belief of the people."
Jairam Ramesh clarified the comment made by Rahul Gandhi and his prompting in a tweet saying, "The RW system is having a field day with my pointing out to @RahulGandhi that his statement's construct would be distorted by BJP's fake news machine. He clarified instantly. We speak freely to the media without teleprompters. This is another attempt to distract from Modani scam."

Calling Rahul Gandhi a strange leader, Chouhan said, "When he should speak in Parliament, he runs abroad. Sometimes he goes away without telling anybody. And then criticises the country abroad. He has been so blinded by criticism towards the Prime Minister that he has started criticising the country."
He said leaders like former Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath and Digvijaya Singh should clarify if they agree with the comments made by Rahul Gandhi adding that it was unfortunate that the Congress is stubborn about making such a leader a national leader.
During his interactions in London, Rahul Gandhi had alleged that the structures of Indian democracy are under attack and there is a "full-scale assault" on the country's institutions.
The remarks triggered a political slugfest, with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) accusing Rahul Gandhi of maligning India on foreign soil and seeking foreign interventions, and the Congress hitting back at the ruling party by citing instances of Prime Minister Narendra Modi raising internal politics abroad.
