Rahul Gandhi in US: Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday made a big claim that China occupies Indian land the size of Delhi. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not handled the border issue with China well at all. "I see no reason why Chinese troops should be sitting in our territory," he said.

During an interaction at The National Press Club in Washington DC, Rahul Gandhi said: "We’ve got Chinese troops occupying land the size of Delhi in Ladakh, and I think that’s a disaster."

He sought to ask: "How would America react if a neighbour occupied 4,000 square kilometres of its territory? Would any president be able to get away with saying he’s handled that well?" "I don’t think Mr. Modi has handled China well at all," Rahul Gandhi added.

Several of Rahul Gandhi's comments pertaining to manufacturing in China and India's reservation policy have earned the ire of several political opponents. Both the Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA and the non-INDIA bloc Opposition, specifically Mayawati's Bahujan Samaj Party, have slammed Rahul Gandhi for his remarks in the US.

Rahul Gandhi On Pakistan

The only point of agreement, perhaps, would be Rahul Gandhi's remarks on Pakistan. He said: "Pakistan's instigation of terrorism in our country is holding the two countries back. We’re not going to accept Pakistan carrying out terror attacks on our country. We’re just not going to accept it, and as long as they continue doing that, there will be problems between us."
