LUCKNOW: Amid high voltage electioneering in Uttar Pradesh, Union Minister Uma Bharti on Saturday came all guns blazing at Rahul Gandhi saying the Congress Vice President has taken birth from an italian womb and he only understands the culture of Italy.

Commenting on Rahul's remark on PM Modi of making "conditional promises and deals" even with "Ganga maa", Bharti said, "Ganga is the mother of the world but he doesn't recognise its importance. He has taken birth from an Italian womb and only understands the culture of Italy".

"Rahul should jump into the Ganga as he and Akhilesh are enemies of the holy river.

Lashing on at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Bharti said Akhilesh has committed a sin by campaigning for rape accused minister Gayatri Prajapati.

"Dimple Yadav should have stooped her husband from campaigning for Prajapati. Even if he jumps into the Gnaga, his misdeeds won't be forgiven," she said.

Accusing UP CM of betraying her, Bharti said Akhlikesh had promised to support me on Namai Gange but he refused later.

When asked about BJP's CM candidate in UP, Bharti said, "I have mistakenly said that I don't want to become Chief Minister but now I will not comment on it. It's up to party President Amit Shah and UP unit chief Keshav Prasad Maurya to decide on CM face".

The Union Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation Minister said Yogi Adityanath is like her younger brother and have all the qualities of becoming CM but party will take the final call.

On the row over Shakshi Maharaj's "burqa-clad women voters be checked at booths" remark, the Union Minister said, "it's related to election process. His demand is all right as every vote matters".
