Protesting Students Demand CBI Probe, Resignation Of Top Official Over 'Scam' In BPSC Results
The commission revised the results on November 26 to add 15 more candidates to the final list after the protest.
Amid the ongoing protests over the alleged scam in the Bihar Public Service Commission preliminary results, the aspirants have now demanded a CBI inquiry into the case and the resignation of the BPSC secretary, reported ANI.
One of the aspirants said that there is a need to blacklist students who appeared for exams with donations.

Reacting to the protests, BJP MLA and Leader of Opposition Vijay Kumar Sinha said that there should be transparency in the Bihar Public Service Commission Preliminary.
“Why are such corrupt people selected for the post of exam controller? As alleged, they should release the correct answers to 9 questions & lower the cut-off,” ANI quoted Sinha as saying.

The Bihar Public Service Commission announced the results of the 67th BPSC prelims on November 17. The aspirants have been protesting since then over the alleged irregularities in the cut-offs. The BPSC on November 26 published another round of results with 15 more students qualifying for the test.
The students earlier protested outside CM Nitish Kumar's residence but when they did not get any response, the protesters reached the BPSC office.
The exam, which was to be held in May this year, was cancelled due to a ‘question paper leak’. The Bihar Lok Seva Aayog announced that it has cancelled the 67th Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination of the Bihar Public Service Commission and the matter is now under investigation. The exam was set to begin at 12 noon on May 8, when the question paper was released online from an exam centre and it went viral online within moments.
Bihar DGP SK Singhal had said that the Economic Offences Unit (EOU) will probe the BPSC question paper leak case. He added that a team of cyber cells operating under ADG, Economic Offence Unit has been formed and has started investigating.
