The Supreme Court will hear the case filed by suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma on Tuesday. A bench of Justice Surya Kant and Justice JB Pardiwala will hear the matter. Nupur Sharma, who is facing nine FIRs for her alleged statements against Prophet Mohammad, petitioned the Supreme Court for a stay of arrest in any of the FIRs. She also tried to pursue her prior petitions, despite the Supreme Court's censure.

According to Nupur Sharma, her life has become more dangerous since the Supreme Court deemed her accountable for the country's instability.

Her most recent petition has been assigned to the same bench that heard her initial petition during holidays.

Prophet Remark Row

Nupur Sharma's comments on Prophet Mohammad provoked outrage, and many FIRs were filed against her.

On Monday evening, she petitioned the Supreme Court to consolidate all FIRs filed against her in Delhi, where the original complaint was made.

The former BJP spokesperson petitioned the Supreme Court, claiming that she had received rape and death threats as a result of the Supreme Court's harsh censure of her remarks. She has requested that the FIRs in Delhi be combined.

Earlier this month, the Supreme Court slammed Nupur Sharma for her televised statements on Prophet Muhammad, claiming that she is solely to blame for the country's instability.

“The way she has ignited the whole country. Still she has the cheek and courage to come to this court to ask for relief instead of approaching the respective high courts and trial courts. This lady is single-handedly responsible for setting fire across the country," the bench had stated.
