Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday warned people against sharing a "propaganda video" made by the Pakistan-based terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed, featuring Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan.

On social media handle X, the Jammu and Kashmir Police stated that the terrorist organisation produced a 5 minutes and 55 seconds video that included a poster of the Bollywood movie Phantom, which starred Saif Ali Khan.

The police said that anyone who is receiving this video must report the telephone number of the sender, along with the date and time of receipt. Government officials who receive it should also notify their superiors via text message.

Terrorist Attack In Doda

Jaish-e-Mohammed, a Pakistan-based Deobandi Jihadist terrorist group that is active in Kashmir, was responsible for a recent attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district, which resulted in the deaths of an Army officer and three soldiers.

Following the attack, the Kashmir Tigers, a shadow group of Jaish, released a video on social media showing a brutal act of running a knife across the throat of an Army officer.

The Indian Army, however, dismissed the video as doctored. "It is simply a propaganda video by Pakistani terror handlers to mislead and create fear among the people," Army sources said, PTI reported.

Since the start of the year, nearly a dozen terror attacks in six districts of the typically peaceful Jammu region have resulted in the deaths of 27 people, including 11 security personnel, a village defense guard, and five terrorists.
