Harish Rawat On PM Modi: Congress leader and former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat has hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his visit to Kedarnath. Congress leader Harish Rawat said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has come to Kedarnath for a political speech and marketing of his party, to ANI. He said that we visit the Shivlinga in Shivalaya itself and offer his prayers there.
Harish Rawat slams PM Modi
Congress leader Harish Rawat said that PM Narendra Modi is advocating himself more under the name of Kedar Baba, rather than worshipping Kedar Baba. At the same time, Harish Rawat said that this government has increased inflation in the country. Harish Rawat said that today Congress is performing 'Jalabhishek' in every district where there is a Jyotirlinga. He said that we are devotees of Shiva, Ganga, and Dev and go to our own Shivalaya to worship. He said we don't put up a pretense.
Several projects inaugurated at Kedarnath Dham
It may be recalled that Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Kedarnath Dham on Friday where he offered prayers at the 'Garbhgruha' (sanctum sanctorum). PM Modi then unveiled a 12 feet long statue of Adi Guru Shankaracharya. The Prime Minister also inaugurated projects to the tune of about Rs 130 crores. PM Modi also addressed the gathering. Prime Minister Modi was also moved to recall the terrible tragedy in Kedarnath a few years ago.
