PM Narendra Modi's Birthday: Vladimir Putin, Boris Johnson, Other World Leaders Extend Greetings As PM Turns 70 Today

New Delhi: From Union Ministers of India to World leaders including Russian President Vladimir Putin, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, people from all walks of life extended their heartwarming wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he turned 70 on Thursday, September 17. One of the first VIPs to wish Modi was Russian President Vladimir Putin praised him and said his activity as India's head of the government has earned him the well-deserved respect of compatriots and high international prestige. British Prime Minister Johnson, German Chancellor Merkel, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Nepal PM KP Oli were among others who took to the Twitter to wish PM Modi on his birthday.

On this occasion, the world's largest digital cake cutting ceremony called 'Cake for Corona Warrior' has been organised in PM Modi's home state of Vadodara. 711 Corona Warriors will cut this 71 feet long cake. Ahead of PM Modi's 70th birthday, the Bharatiya Janata Party organised a week long 'Seva Saptah' to celebrate his special day. The party workers are distributing food among the needy and organising blood camps during the week-long celebration.
